Cookery school courses are run at Trill Farm in Devon, close to Axminster on the border with Dorset. Trill Farm is an organic producing working farm and sustainable skills centre, set in 300 acres or rolling country side. There is also on site bed and breakfast accommodation and camping facilities available. Please enquire
The cookery courses are held in the newly converted and refurbished "Old Dairy" that is now a purpose designed modern commercial kitchen and class room, the venue is complimented by the origional wooden beams and the wood burning stove, as dose the surrounding rolling fields and woodland that are home to the organically produced ingredients we closely work with. Cookery courses are led by Fraser Christian a highly qualified and experienced chef. Fraser has worked with food since an early age, after qualifying with distinctions from Brunel catering college in Bristol, Fraser went on to work with and experience many different cultures and cuisines of the world.
Fraser will share his experience and knowledge, together with the local organic, seasonal produce and the direct connection it has with taste, textures and nutritional benefits. Fraser promotes a simple, relaxed and honest approach to food and cookery, helping you gain confidence in producing amazing and delicious dishes worthy of any fine restaurants table.

Basic meat butchery - In association with a trusted local butcher Phil Frampton.

Individual booking £85.00 per course, per person - 50% discount for kids when accompanied by an adult.
Five day basic cookery course.
A complete journey through the wonderful world of food and cookery. This comprehensive course will cover the essential basics of all aspects of sourcing food right through its preparation and cookery. Gain ultimate confidence to experiment and work with food, learn and enjoy in a relaxed and professional environment.Individual booking £400.00.

All our course dates coincide as closely as possible with the best seasonal availability when it comes to the ingredients of the chosen subjects.
All ingredients are sourced where possible directly from Trill Farm and locally trusted producers, that use sustainable practises and organically produce some of the finest and freshest foods available. All our meat is from naturally outdoor reared organically produced stock.
All our fish and shellfish is from wild stock that has been caught by local day boats using practises that have no adverse effect on the marine environment, including diver caught scallops and line caught sea bass All our fruit and vegetables are naturally and organically grow.
All our courses are practical demonstration based with a mix of hands on. Day courses begin at 11am and usually finish at 5.00pm - Lunch is served from 1.30/2.00pm.
Evening classes start at 6.30pm and finish at 9.00pm (Summer months only)
